How To Get The Best Use, Information and Communication From The UnrealRumble Forums
A Settings Guide

While certainly not perfect, this guide intends to point out some settings that should make your experiences more useful and interactive, providing a better experience for you and for those who read your posts, by minimizing the time spent poking around, searching and learning, thus maximizing your contributions to the knowledge of all.

First, begin by logging in, then click on the next few circled links.

Start here:

Go here:

Until you see the following. Please add any and all of the IM info you want. Doing this fosters more and better communications, and friendships as well.

Select the check boxes as seen below. At any time you may want, please email Vsf or N00B if you have any questions.

Now click on Notifications and Email:

Make your screen look like this:

I don’t remember what I was doing here, but do something with it Wink

Now click here:

And where you see stuff that looks like this, make it look like this picture:

And finally, here are all of the main sections right now. The bottom two are as they describe. As are the top two really, but depending on the group you are in, you will see some or all of them. We debated this as a team, having hidden sections on the forums or not... we want all to be open to everyone. But we also had to consider that any group who supports a system such as ours requires some level of group communication. So as you see below, there are two sections that are marked for limited access, and are ONLY used for web support and game server support.

So, in conclusion, by using this guide you should have a more interactive forums experience. This document is for the use of all players and as such we are always looking for more suggestions. Please send your advice to vsf@rftribes.com. This document will continue to  change.
